News of a supposed documentary on the late Amy Winehouse titled Amy leaked last week for a UK release this summer. To all of our excitement, news of a US distribution was released just yesterday and now, we’re thrilled to share the arrival of its very first trailer. Although not much is revealed in the trailer, it seems just as intimate and moving as we’ve all hoped. When asked how big a celebrity she thinks she will be, she answers: “I don’t think I’m going to be at all famous, I don’t think I could handle it. I would probably go mad, do you know what I mean, I’d go mad.”

For those who may be oddly unfamiliar with the late singing sensation, she passed in 2011 of alcohol poisoning at the young age of 27, leaving behind timeless music and an unforgettable voice and persona.
